My best friend and I joke around that we’re really eight people inside one body.

By “joke”, I mean, we laugh at our reality.

It’s true: complexity exists within all of us. And if there’s eight of me, then there may be even more, or less, or the same amount of paths within in you. Let’s share the journey.

On February 8th, 2015, I’ll be flying out on a one-way ticket to SE Asia. This is where I’ll document the shenanigans. As of now, the 1st two and half months will be shared with two dear girlfriends of mine, Jackie & Amanda; they’ll fly home at the end of April 2015 and I plan to forge ahead solo. The three of us will explore Thailand and Indonesia together, perhaps Laos and Cambodia, and then depending on what we’ve seen, who we’ve met, and where I’ve been pulled, I’ll decide where to go from there. I hope to settle down at different places along the way for days, weeks, months, and/or years (?) at a time.

What will I do, you wonder? In no specific order:
Backpack.

Teach yoga.

Study yoga.

Write.

Read.

Facilitate writing and voice empowerment workshops.

Absorb new culture.

Taste new food,

Ask new questions.

Find new answers.

Expand awareness, community and knowledge.

Meet more magical human beings.

Work on rice farms, elephant refuges, in hostels and ___________.

Lay on the beach.

Volunteer.

Is there a main goal for this?

See, feel, expand.

To solidify Home Within; to go anywhere, with anyone, for however long, and be complete regardless of external circumstances, even if that sensation is accompanied by the unknown. I seek to strengthen my mind, my heart, my body, my spirit.

Am I scared? Sometimes. What do I do with that? Return to Trust.

There’s a lot I’m looking forward to sharing, and to be honest, I’m not exactly sure how this will all go. This is my first real jab at an online portfolio, bare with me.
